Ten Buck Tuesday 13!

Good afternoon lovelies! I hope everyone is having a great start to the week! I got some hilarious emails about the "perfect" housewife post; if you haven't seen the article yet, please check it out and let me know what you think. I love your witty responses:)

Last night I went to the gym for the first time in a lonnnggg time. I just did 30 minutes on the tredmill and 10 minutes of death on the elliptical... you've got to (re)start somewhere, right?

And a BIG HAPPY TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY TO MY FELLOW EDUCATORS! :) This week we've got state testing so it's been super boring fun.

I finally have my coupon binder ready to go! I followed the Krazy Coupon Lady's regimen (I'll talk more about it later this week). Who's with me? I'm focusing on saving, not on hoarding like some extreme couponers (have you seen the show?)

Last week on Ten Buck Tuesday, Kitty at A Law Student's Journey made this incredible coffee cozy (with tutorial and I can't wait to try):

Spending Less, Living More made this oh-so-shabby-chic Ruffle Pillow:

Kristen at Turning a House into a Home made this gorgeous Cork Heart:

And Natalia at Ma Nouvelle Mode these cool Countdown Blocks:

I seriously cannot wait to get started on these tutorials! THANK YOU ALL FOR PARTICIPATING! Email me at: youngnester(at)gmail(dot)com and ask for the code for my "I was featured" button! I would love for you to show the world I love you!

NOW ON TO THE FUN PART!

LINK UP YOUR $10 CRAFT OR RECIPE! Please play fair and copy the Ten Buck Tuesday button to your blog when you link up! The link-up will be open until next Monday at 11:59pm (EST)! No shops or main pages; please link up the specific post of your project.

I CAN'T WAIT to see what YOU are making this week!

  4. I'm just starting this couponing thing myself so I'm anxious to hear what you're doing! I don't want to hoard either, just get things I truly need and save money. I don't want all the people at Kroger to flee when they see me coming. :)

  5. Egad. I haven't crafted in over a week. I need to get to it!

PS...I have nominated you as a favorite for an award. If you want to accept it it's cool but if not I understand. Sooo many bloggy awards floating around!
